Description

TIM5 is designed for both routine and sophisticated materials inspection. With a modular design, you can combine reflected (epi) illumination and transmitted light, add polarised light, and use field and aperture diaphragms to optimise contrast. The optical path includes Siedentopf trinocular head (30° inclined & rotatable), coarse & fine focus, high quality objectives (plan achromat), and accessories for image capture via C-mount. Useful for inspecting grain structure, inclusions, surface defects, or porosity.
