DeFelsko Zero Plates for Coating Thickness Gages
Designed as calibration accessories, DeFelsko Zero Plates provide a stable, known reference surface for gage zeroing. Often included in standard sets, they also act as substrates for measuring shims or coatings on nonmetal materials. Their precision machining ensures minimal deviation in thickness reference.
Features
Flat, uncoated steel (1018) or aluminum (6061-T6) to provide reliable reference zero
Options: small round, medium square, large square in steel or aluminum
Plate values traceable to national metrology institute, used in standard sets
Used to verify and set gage zero, or as base for measuring shims or soft materials
Supplied in protective binders or mounts to prevent surface damage
