Description

The OC Series includes models such as Stirling OC28, OC36, OC46 offering centre height 500-625 mm, swing over bed between 1000-1250 mm, and massive distances between centres from 1.5 to 18 metres. Spindle bores range 280-460 mm, with spindle nose A2-20, MT290/MT470 taper reduction sleeves depending on model. Speeds are low (≈ 3-315 rpm) to accommodate heavy work, supported by large cross-slide travel, huge bed widths and tailstock quills for deep support.

Spindle speed ranges very low, e.g. 3-315 rpm (or similar) across models, allowing high torque for large diameter turning and threading.
